A woman was airlifted to Tamworth Hospital following a car accident approximately 20 klms east of Manilla on the Halls Creek Road.
The accident occurred around 1.15 pm last Tuesday afternoon. The woman received multiple injuries after the vehicle she was driving left the roadway and rolled down an eight-metre embankment, coming to rest back on itís wheels.
Manilla police, ambulance service, Fire & Rescue and Rural Fire Service, along with the Tamworth based Westpac Rescue Helicopter attended the scene.
The cause of the accident is being investigated by police.
