Sit & Stretch is BACK in Manilla

After Covid shut so many of our local activities down it’s exciting to see that Karen Bishton is returning with her Sit & Stretch Chair Yoga classes each Wednesday from October 6.  Now in the new venue at the Uniting Church Hall she is looking forward to renewing contact with many and welcoming lots of new faces into this relaxed setting.  
You might wonder why this activity should be in your weekly routine but there are so many reasons.  If you are interested in increasing your balance, mobility and strength along with learning some relaxation techniques to assist with poor sleep and stress, then this is perfect for you.  This class is done from the comfort of your chair without the need to get up and down off the floor.  You will experience getting to know your body again, iron out some of the creases when our activity slows down but also help to release muscles and work through some of the aches and pains.  You will relearn how to breathe, to slow things down mentally and bring your focus into what you can do rather than what you struggle to do.  Your first is class is FREE so you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. 
Numbers will be restricted based on NSW Health Regulations and at the time of printing masks will be mandatory except for those with health based exemptions.  Cost is $10 per session.  If you would like to know more or to book your space please contact Karen on 0429 647928.
