We are in the closing days of 2020, a year which has certainly given us many challenges.

It is also a year where lots of wonderful things happened. As a staff we have all enjoyed seeing the children at our school learn and grow. This week we farewell with both sadness and excitement our Year 6 students: Matilda Alderton, Spencer Anderson, Takoda Brown, Dallas Kelly and Clare McDouall.

It has been a privilege to know each of them and to teach them over the last seven years. We will follow their careers at high school and beyond with great interest and affection.

Our nine day swimming program concluded on Friday. The students all improved their swimming and water safety skills. The program ended with a trip down the water slide for everyone, which was greatly enjoyed. Our local pool once again provided an excellent facility and we thank the staff very much for their professionalism and expertise.

Congratulations to our Students of the Week! Well done to Jax Mallise†for his hard work in all key learning areas, Ella Stuckey for great learning disposition in all parts of school, and to Charlotte Gillogly for excellent improvement at swimming.
