Paragliding Accident

Around 2:40 p.m. on Sunday afternoon the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by New South Wales Ambulance to Mount Borah, north west of Manilla, to a paragliding accident. A 58 year old male sustained lower limb injuries when he made a heavy landing near the top of the mountain.

Th e patient was treated by NSWA paramedics and the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team before he was flown to Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital. The man was is in a stable condition.
