Last Friday's 'Night Swimming' event at Barraba's pool was a great success. Well over a hundred visitors took advantage of the special late opening to enjoy the pool, water slide and grounds well into the evening on Friday, 27 November.
The immaculately kept facility boasted an inflatable in the big pool for the occasion which gave a lot of enjoyment to children and teenagers. All the traditional daring moves were executed off the diving board, and lines were long for the very popular water slide.
On Friday the temperature reached a high of 38 degrees and was still over 34 degrees at 8.30pm. In what promises to be another hot summer, locals are hoping for more night swimming events to be scheduled.Photo Barrabaís water slide under the moon.
