As the result of a two vehicle accident on Saturday afternoon one person was taken to Manilla Hospital with minor injuries.
At around 1.50pm all Manilla emergency services were called to the intersection of Barraba and Rowan Streets, North Manilla where a vehicle travelling south on Rowan Street has clipped the rear of a vehicle travelling east on Barraba Street causing it to spin several times coming to rest some 25 metres from the point of impact. The vehicle sustained major damage and fortunately the driver
and passenger received only minor injuries with the passenger taken to Hospital as a precaution.
It would appear that the driver of the vehicle being driven on Barraba Street has failed to giveway at the intersection with Rowan Street.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident,
