Manilla Show 11th, 12th & 13th March
Preparations for this year’s Manilla Show are well underway. The Show will start with a bang with ProTen once again sponsoring the Ryan Mason Fireworks Display.
A new ticketing system will see online pre purchase tickets available from our website www.manillashowsociety.net. On the Home Page there is a QR code and a link to take you to 123TIX.com.au where you can purchase your tickets. We will have new technology at the Show gates to scan these tickets or those wishing to buy tickets with card may do so. The Bar will have Eftpos facilities available as well.
Show entry fee this year will be Family weekend Pass $25, Single weekend Pass $15, Single Adult Daily Entry $10, Single Child Entry $5. Manilla Show Family Membership $20 (Free entry to the Show over the weekend), Manilla Show Individual Membership $10 (Free entry to the Show over the weekend).
The Show schedule is available from the webpage www.manillashowsociety.net and will also be available in print soon.
Tickets can be purchased at the gate using cash or card and the bar will be accepting cash or card.
The Gill Brother’s will be providing the entertainment on Saturday night with their thrills and spills Rodeo which has been a crowd pleaser over the years.
Dogs will feature at this years Show. This year the Yard Dog Competition will be held over two days in our new sheep yards purchased from a grant from M&M Stockyards. Saturday will see Novice Yard Dog Trial, Ross Stewart Memorial Maiden Yard Dog Trial and something new – Speed Trial. On Sunday – Peter Jones Memorial Local Dog Trial, Bree Taber Memorial Beginner Local Dog Trail. We have plenty of seating available for everyone to watch this popular event.
While you have your dog at the show, you can enter it in the Pet Show and the Dog High Jump.
The Free Kid’s Zone will also be running with a great line up of fun things to entertain the whole family – Troppo Bob (Magician), Baimax Dinosaur (life size baby T-Rex and his friends Rosa the Centrosaurus and Alex the Ankylosaurus as well as Reptile Show, Fizzics Education (fun science experiments that go off with a bang) Dance Shows provided by Rising Stars Dance Studio. New Basket Hoop Game and more lego just to name a few.
